Hi class. I was only at WWHS my freshman year and then moved to Colorado. I know no girls from the Class of 1966 remember me as I was too afraid to talk to any of them. I did hang with several boys including Bruce, Forrest, Steve, Jim and Jim. After WWHS I fought (survived) in the Vietnam with the 9th and 12th Marines from 1968 -1969 then went to school on the GI Bill. After getting my PhD at UC Berkeley, I was a professor for over 35 years teaching at West Point in NY, George Mason in Va, and Columbia University in NYC (for Pics me plus more info just type my name and Columbia University into Google and my bio and my 1995 bright shiny face will appear). Since 9th grade I have kept in contact with Bruce in Switzerland and while on a geology field trip another geology professor came up to me and asked if I went to WWHS – it was one of the Jims, Jim Jackson. Things I remember about WWHS are the great books we read in England class, the D I got from some weird character named Mr Trimbley (sp?) – he didn’t like students that could not spell (me) and having the band teacher (name?) taking the school’s piccolo away after I broke some of the pads while trying to master the piccolo part from Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever. The other Jim was Jim Wilson (?) a very good violinist and Steve Binderman (please if you have information on Jim or Steve pass it on to manders@ldeo.columbia.edu). Mark H Anders
